Ayman has more than 28 years of experience in the semiconductor industry as a mixed-signal design engineer/manager for RFICs and MEMS interfacing applications.
Prior to joining SWS, Ayman was a design engineer at Intel Corporation where he was a key member of Intel’s RF operations team developing RF transceiver ICs for several wireless standards ranging from WPAN to EDGE. He also worked in RFIC design with Conexant. During the past ten years his interests have moved more towards architecting and implementing several precision mixed-signal ASICs for MEMS interfaces for applications ranging from oscillators to complex gyroscopes.
Ayman received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics and communications engineering from Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, and his Ph.D. degree in RFIC design from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
Ayman holds 4 US patents, with 1 more pending. He has published several papers and has given conference presentations in the field of analog/mixed-signal IC design.
