Dr. Mostafa Medhat

CCO

Dr. Mostafa Medhat is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Si-Ware Systems. He joined the company at its inception as its first engineer, leading the R&D team to develop the world’s first single-chip FT spectrometer. Over the past two decades, he has combined deep technical expertise with strategic commercial leadership, driving Si-Ware’s transformation into a global pioneer in MEMS-based spectroscopy. With 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Dr. Medhat’s background spans optics, MEMS, spectroscopy, and data analytics, as well as building partnerships that have enabled innovative products in agriculture, food, beauty, and personal care industries. Today, as CCO, he oversees the company’s Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and Revenue, aligning Si-Ware’s technology and market strategy to accelerate growth and global adoption. Dr. Medhat holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, completed in collaboration with the Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre (IMEC) in Leuven, Belgium. He also earned an MBA in Project Management and a DBA in International Business from the International Business Academy of Switzerland (IBAS) and Vern University. In addition, he completed a Product Management program at Stanford University and is currently a DBA candidate in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence at Walsh College, USA. An accomplished innovator, Dr. Medhat holds 18 patents and patent applications, has authored or co-authored over 30 publications, and contributed to a book in the field of spectroscopy and MEMS technologies.
