What is the Si-NIR Mini Sensor?
Si-NIR Mini is a miniature sensor that enables OEMs to embed real-time material analysis into compact products and embedded systems. It uses FT-NIR (Fourier-Transform Near-Infrared) spectroscopy to analyze how materials absorb light—revealing their unique spectral signature. This allows Si-NIR Mini to instantly identify a wide variety of materials and parameters without damaging the sample. With a broad spectral range (1,350–2,550 nm) and powered by Si-Ware Systems’ proprietary MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) engine, Si-NIR Mini delivers lab-grade accuracy in a sugar-cube-sized, low-power form factor.
