What Is Si-NIR Matrix sensor ?
Si-NIR Matrix is a material sensor that enables OEMs and system developers to embed real-time analysis into portable products, embedded systems, and field-deployed tools. It uses FT-NIR spectroscopy to reveal key characteristics of materials' composition without damaging or altering the material. Its 10 mm measurement spot captures a larger portion of the sample surface to deliver consistent results from materials that vary in texture, shape, or composition without the need to repeat measurements. A broad spectral range (1,350–2,550 nm) enables the detection of multiple parameters in a single scan, expanding the range of applications the sensor can support. Built on Si-Ware Systems’ MEMS platform, the sensor brings lab-grade capability to products designed for use in real-world environments where materials aren’t always uniform or predictable.
